How do I check the status of my submission?
Log in to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) author dashboard. Your manuscript status updates as it moves through editorial screening, peer review, revision, and decision stages. If the dashboard has not updated within one week of an expected milestone, contact [email protected] with your manuscript ID.
I cannot log in or upload files to OJS. What should I do?
Clear your browser cache, try a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari), and confirm you are using the correct journal URL. For persistent login or upload errors, email [email protected] with a screenshot and your username—do not send passwords.
How are article processing charges (APCs) handled?
APCs apply when an article is accepted for gold open access publication under CC BY 4.0. Payment requests are issued after acceptance; waivers may be available for eligible authors. APC status never influences editorial decisions. See author guidelines for current fees or email [email protected] for invoicing questions.
How do I request a correction or report a published error?
Contact the editorial office at [email protected] with the article DOI, a clear description of the error, and supporting evidence. Minor corrections may be published as errata; substantive issues are assessed under COPE-aligned editorial procedures.
How do I report suspected plagiarism or ethics concerns?
Send a confidential report to [email protected] with relevant details and documentation. We follow COPE guidance and protect whistleblowers where possible. Do not discuss active investigations publicly.
Where can librarians obtain metadata and licensing information?
All articles are gold open access with CC BY licensing—no subscription required for the version of record. For KBART feeds, holdings statements, or partnership enquiries, visit Library partnerships or email [email protected].
