Digital Humanities & Social Computing (DHSC)

We are pleased to announce the official launch of Digital Humanities & Social Computing (DHSC), a new peer-reviewed, open access journal published by Prime Academic Press. DHSC is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research at the intersection of digital humanities and social computing.

The journal is now accepting submissions for its inaugural issue. We invite original research articles, review papers, and case studies in areas including, but not limited to:

Computational analysis of cultural, historical, and literary texts
Social media analytics and computational social science
Digital archives, cultural heritage, and preservation
Ethics, bias, and fairness in digital research methods
Interdisciplinary methodologies for digital humanities
Open data and reproducibility in computational social science

To celebrate our launch, all manuscripts submitted before December 31, 2026 will receive a reduced Article Processing Charge (APC) of $490 USD (regular rate: $790 USD).
