Manuscript Preparation & Template Guidelines

To ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality publication, all authors are strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts using the Digital Humanities & Social Computing (DHSC) official templates. These templates are pre-formatted to meet all journal requirements and help you avoid common formatting errors during submission and review.

Using a template will streamline your writing process, reduce editorial corrections, and accelerate the publication schedule for accepted papers.

  • Consistent headings, fonts, margins, and line spacing
  • Built-in support for abstract, keywords, citations, and references
  • Faster review and editing for accepted manuscripts
  • Reduced risk of formatting-related delays

If you cannot use the provided templates, you must still follow all DHSC formatting guidelines closely. Manuscripts that deviate significantly from required styles may be returned for revision before peer review.
