Information For Authors
Welcome to Digital Business & Innovation Management (DBIM). We invite researchers, practitioners, and scholars to submit original work that advances the understanding of digital transformation, innovation, and business management. This guide outlines our submission requirements, peer review process, and publication policies.
1. Scope of the Journal
DBIM publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and conceptual papers in the following areas:
- Digital business models and platform ecosystems
- Innovation management in digital environments
- Digital transformation and organizational change
- Fintech, digital finance, and blockchain applications
- Data-driven marketing and customer analytics
- Ethics, governance, and regulation in digital business
- Emerging technologies (AI, IoT, cloud) in business strategy
2. Manuscript Requirements
- Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished work not under review elsewhere.
- Structure: Include title page, abstract (150–250 words), keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, references, and appendices.
- Format: Use the official journal templates (Word or LaTeX) available on our website.
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English.
- Length: Research articles: 6,000–10,000 words; reviews: up to 12,000 words.
3. Submission Process
- Prepare your manuscript using the official DBIM template.
- Register for an account on our submission platform.
- Submit the manuscript along with all supplementary materials (data, code, figures).
- Complete the submission checklist, including ethics statement, conflict of interest, and author contribution form.
- Your manuscript will undergo an initial editorial screening before being sent for peer review.
4. Peer Review Process
DBIM uses a double-blind peer review process:
- Manuscripts are anonymized before review.
- Each submission is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
- Reviewers provide feedback on originality, methodology, clarity, and impact.
- The editor will communicate the decision (accept, revise, or reject) to the corresponding author.
5. Publication Policies
- Open Access: All articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license.
- APC: The Article Processing Charge is $790 USD. A reduced rate of $490 USD is available for submissions received in 2026.
- Copyright: Authors retain full copyright of their work.
- Ethics: Research involving human subjects must include approval from an ethics committee.
