Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or LaTeX-compatible format.
- All references include DOIs and URLs where available, and are formatted in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines.
- The manuscript adheres to the journal’s formatting requirements, including line spacing, font size, and figure/table placement.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- All co-authors have approved the submission and agree to the corresponding author’s responsibilities.
- If applicable, the submission includes all required supplementary materials (e.g., code, datasets, multimedia) as separate components.
- Use of generative AI tools for text, code, or figures has been properly disclosed in the manuscript.
- Ethics approval (e.g., IRB, IACUC) is included for human/animal research (where applicable).

All published articles in AI Engineering & Applications are issued under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This license allows users to freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full text of all published papers for non-commercial and commercial purposes, provided that the original author source and journal citation are properly credited.

Authors retain full copyright of their original research works after publication. Authors have the right to reuse, modify and extend their published content in subsequent research, academic exchanges and teaching activities without additional authorization fees.
3. Prohibited Behaviors
- Unauthorized tampering, distorting or plagiarizing published academic contents
- Reprinting, aggregating and selling journal articles for commercial profit without official written permission
- Removing journal logos, copyright marks and original citation information arbitrarily
- Spreading manuscript contents before official online publication
4. Intellectual Property Protection
Our journal strictly respects global intellectual property laws and academic publishing norms. Once any copyright infringement, academic misconduct and illegal use behaviors are verified, we will reserve the right to pursue legal liabilities and publish official statements.
