Peer review is the foundation of academic publishing. Global Governance & Sustainable Development (GGSD) is seeking qualified researchers to join our reviewer community and help us maintain the highest standards of scholarly excellence.

As a reviewer for GGSD, you will play a critical role in shaping the quality of published research and contributing to the advancement of global governance and sustainable development studies.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field
  • Active research record with at least 2 peer-reviewed publications
  • Expertise in one or more of the journal's thematic areas
  • Ability to provide constructive, timely, and objective feedback
  • Commitment to academic integrity and ethical publishing practices
  • Proficiency in academic English

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Complete reviews within the specified deadline (4 weeks)
  • Provide detailed, constructive, and objective feedback
  • Maintain confidentiality of the review process
  • Decline reviews if you have conflicts of interest
  • Adhere to COPE ethical guidelines for peer review
  • Notify the editorial office if you cannot meet a deadline

How to Register as a Reviewer

  1. Register or log in to our online submission system
  2. Go to your profile page
  3. Update your areas of expertise and review interests
  4. Check the box indicating you are available to review
  5. You will receive review invitations based on your expertise
