Call for Founding Editorial Team Members

We invite outstanding scholars, engineers, and practitioners from around the world to join our founding editorial team. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the direction of a new leading journal in airspace science and engineering.

Position Responsibilities

Editor-in-Chief
  • Provide overall strategic leadership and vision for the journal
  • Oversee the entire editorial process and ensure academic quality
  • Lead the recruitment and management of the editorial team
  • Represent the journal at international conferences and events
  • Develop relationships with academic institutions and industry partners
  • Work with the publisher to achieve indexing and impact goals
Associate Editors
  • Lead peer review process for assigned manuscripts
  • Make evidence-based publication recommendations
  • Develop and oversee special issues
  • Advise on journal policy and strategic direction
  • Represent the journal at international conferences
Editorial Board Members
  • Conduct timely and rigorous peer reviews
  • Provide subject expertise and technical advice
  • Promote the journal within academic networks
  • Suggest potential authors and special topics
  • Participate in annual editorial board meetings

Qualifications

Editor-in-Chief
  • Full Professor or equivalent senior academic rank
  • Established international reputation in airspace science or aerospace engineering
  • Significant previous editorial experience (preferably as Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Commitment to open access and academic excellence
Associate Editors & Editorial Board Members
  • PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field
  • Strong publication record and recognized expertise
  • Previous peer review experience preferred
  • Commitment to open access principles
  • Excellent communication skills in English
