Open Access Publishing Model

ASE operates a gold open access model with no subscription barriers. All articles are immediately available to read, download, and share globally upon publication, with no embargo periods. This model eliminates the need for libraries to purchase individual subscriptions or pay-per-view access fees.

Institutional Membership Program

We offer an institutional membership program designed to support libraries and their affiliated researchers. Member institutions receive the following benefits:

  • 20% additional discount on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for corresponding authors affiliated with the institution

Metadata & Discovery

We provide comprehensive, standardized metadata to ensure maximum discoverability of published content. All metadata is freely available and automatically distributed to major discovery services and academic databases.

  • Metadata available in Dublin Core, MARC21, RIS, and BibTeX formats
  • Automatic registration of all articles with CrossRef, including DOIs and reference linking
  • OAI-PMH compliant repository for metadata harvesting
  • Full-text indexing in Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar

Indexing & Archiving

ASE is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published research. We are actively pursuing indexing in all major academic databases and participate in multiple digital preservation programs.

  • Data available in CSV and Excel formats

MARC Records

MARC21 records for each volume and individual article are available for free download from the journal website. Libraries may also request bulk MARC records for all published content.
