Airspace Science & Engineering (ASE) operates a transparent open access publishing model. All articles are immediately available worldwide under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY) upon publication. The Article Processing Charge (APC) covers the full cost of peer review management, editorial production, digital hosting, and long-term preservation.

Valid for all manuscripts submitted and accepted before December 31, 2026

After December 31, 2026, the standard APC will revert to $790 USD per accepted manuscript. There are no submission fees, page charges, color figure charges, or any other hidden fees.

Peer Review Management
Rigorous double-blind peer review coordination and editorial oversight.
Professional Editing
Copyediting, proofreading, and formatting for publication.
Digital Production
Production of HTML, PDF, and XML versions of the article.
DOI Registration
Permanent DOI registration with CrossRef and reference linking.

Payment Information

  • APC payment is due upon acceptance of the manuscript, before publication.
  • We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, and PayPal.
  • Invoices will be issued to the corresponding author or their institution.
  • Payment can be made by the author, their institution, or a research grant.

Refund Policy: If an article is withdrawn by the authors after acceptance but before publication, a 50% refund of the APC will be provided. No refund is available after publication.
