Prime Academic Press is delighted to announce the official launch of Digital Art & New Media Studies (DANMS), a fully peer-reviewed, open access international journal committed to exploring the dynamic intersections of art, technology, and society in the digital age.

Journal Mission & Scope

DANMS publishes original research, critical essays, creative practice research, and case studies that address all aspects of digital art and new media. Our scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Computational art, generative art, and AI art
• Interactive design, immersive media, and virtual/augmented reality
• Digital humanities and computational cultural studies
• New media theory and philosophy of technology
• Digital ethnography and online culture
• Game studies and interactive narrative
• Digital curation, preservation, and exhibition
• Ethics, politics, and accessibility in digital media

Open Access Policy

All articles published in DANMS are immediately available worldwide under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY), allowing anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, and build upon the work without restriction.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To celebrate our launch, all manuscripts submitted before December 31, 2026 will receive a reduced Article Processing Charge (APC) of $490 USD (regular rate: $790 USD).
